Henry Gadsden, JROTC Instructor

Greetings! I’m Henry Gadsden, proud to serve as the JROTC Instructor at Lonoke High School, where I’m dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders. I retired from active duty as a First Sergeant after 25 years of honorable service, specializing as a Combat Engineer for 23 years and an Accounting Specialist for 2 years. With a dual MOS, I gained a wealth of experience in both tactical operations and logistical management, strengthening my commitment to leadership, discipline, and teamwork.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a master’s degree in Business Administration, which I use to equip our cadets with practical knowledge and skills that extend beyond the classroom. Through the JROTC program, I strive to instill confidence, resilience, and a commitment to excellence in our cadets, preparing them not just for academic success but for meaningful, impactful lives.

As a veteran and an educator, my mission is to inspire cadets to reach their full potential, become better citizens, and embrace the values of integrity, respect, and service. Outside of JROTC, I’m involved in youth mentorship and community service, dedicating my time to helping young people thrive. I look forward to guiding each cadet as they embark on their own path of leadership and self-discovery through JROTC.
